How It Works

Dead simple: Steam reviews + AI summary

1. You search for a game

Enter any game title or Steam App ID in the search box

2. We fetch Steam reviews

Using Steam's public API, we grab the most recent reviews

3. GPT-4o-mini summarizes them

GPT-4o-mini reads through the reviews and creates a quick summary

Experimental: Local AI (Chrome)

Summarize reviews entirely on your device using Gemini Nano, Chrome's built-in AI model. The summarization happens locally — no API calls.

Requires Chrome 138+. Enable at chrome://flags/#prompt-api-for-gemini-nano, then restart Chrome. The model (~1.7 GB) downloads on first use.

Performance is significantly slower than our cloud model, and summary quality may vary. Once Chrome's local AI matures, we plan to make this the default for better privacy.

We use the Steam Summarize server as a proxy to fetch reviews from Steam because of browser CORS restrictions.

That's literally it. No login. No forms. Anonymous analytics only. No personal tracking. No BS.
