I'm quite sure Lost Ark is a fascinating study into the economics and corporatization (is that a word?) of game dev. It's easy to imagine how game dev by committee can go wrong. here we have a well-heeled, real-life case study.

Typical Korean MMO. They care more about releasing their next slutty Asian woman themed class than making a compelling game. This is great if you're one of those "men" whose digital fantasy is to be a slut in an online game.
