Age of Empires IV is a good classic RTS. It is still fun, but feels a bit safe and not very new.

Fantastic game with many interesting factions, gameplay flow is great, matches are fun, there is good sp content for players that aren't pvp oriented and game is in a good state. Probably the best rts on the market right now.

been playing AoE since I was a kid, on Windows 98. It's just a solid game. I learned a surprising amount of history playing through the campaigns. AoE IV is more like AoE II but with a lot of the mechanics ironed out. Highly recommend
